Ukraine to Auction Shares of Steel Mill
KIEV, Ukraine (AP) – The Ukrainian government plans to sell some 93 percent of the shares in the country’s biggest steel mill, which was renationalized earlier this month, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said. Tymoshenko said late Saturday that 93.02 percent of the Kryvorizhstal mill’s shares would be sold through public bidding between July and November, while another 1.74 percent of the shares would be traded on exchanges, the Unian news agency reported.
