Ukrainian Christmas Reception at the Embassy of Ukraine

Christmas celebrations in Ukraine last from 6 January, when families have traditional Christmas Eve supper, to 19 January, the day of Vodohrestya (baptism by water) epitomising the tradition of christening in waters of river Jordan. The UBCC would like to give its members an opportunity to celebrate Christmas one more time before the festive season is over.

The Ukrainian Christmas Reception will take place at the Embassy of Ukraine, 60 Holland Park, London W11 3SJ.  In the programme:

– festive greetings from the Embassy of Ukraine and from the UBCC Board of Directors
– introduction to Ukrainian Christmas customs
– traditional Ukrainian Christmas cuisine
– live performance of Ukrainian Christmas carols and music

Admission is by invitation only.

Cost of attending the event:
UBCC members (including Young City Club members): free
Non-members: £29 per person

Due to the limited capacity of the venue, the invitations will only be guaranteed to Patrons and Sponsors of the UBCC. The remaining invitations will be allocated on the first come first served basis. The UBCC members will receive an invitation immediately upon responding to this email (subject to availability). Any non-members who join the UBCC before 6 January 2006 will be entitled to attend the Ukrainian Christmas Reception free of charge.

The Ukrainian-British City Club is a non-profit organisation set out in the United Kingdom for promotion of trade and business between Ukraine and the United Kingdom. The initiative to create such an entity belongs to a group of the young Ukrainian professionals in the fields of investment banking, law, accounting, marketing and the information technology who are settled in the United Kingdom.
